My website faruktoprak.com is 13 years old!

Exactly 13 years ago..

On March 31, 2007, I confidently purchased the domain faruktoprak.com and expertly published my first website in HTML format. Since then, my website has been live and thriving!

During that time period, Facebook was not yet available in Turkish and Instagram had not yet been created. It was the era of mIRC Chat and MSN, and I began working on backlinks by creating a page on MSN from MySpace and linking it to my website. Despite the challenges of uploading files with ADSL internet, I persevered and achieved my goals.

I confidently made the decision to purchase my domain based on the recommendation of my friend Yavuz, a skilled web developer. This was a pivotal moment as I transitioned from Myspace to focusing on my own website. Since beginning my HTML education in 2005, I have accumulated abundant experience working with a variety of tools, including HTML, PHP, CSS, Adobe Photoshop design, SEO, SEM, and more. I have consistently made efforts to stay up-to-date with current trends in the industry, continuously updating my skillset to ensure my work remains top-quality.

I am pleased to offer you a bonus: a photo of myself from years ago. The image below is me at the time of launching my website in 2007. I was a computer-savvy musician, always playing the guitar and tinkering with technology.
